eparking permits available now
eparking permits are now available to UNSW Faculties and Departments hosting events with greater than 20 participants on campus. eparking permits are an efficient and convenient way to provide parking permits to guests attending UNSW events. You can also reduce your costs as charges are calculated by the number of permits printed. This takes the guess work out of how many pre- purchased day passes will be required.
What is the process for obtaining an eparking Permit?
- Complete and submit a Request for eParking Permit form
- Restricted to a minimum of 20 persons attending the event.(Day passes ”scratchies” are available for one off visitors or small groups).
- Applications are to be completed a minimum of two weeks before each event.
- Permits may be issued between the hours of 7.30am and 7.30pm Monday to Friday. Parking is free outside of these hours, on weekends and public holidays (not UNSW holidays).
- Permits may be issued by the day or by the hour. If the permit is issued by the hour it is advisable to factor in the arrival and departure times as well as the actual event time.
- A link will be provided to you to email to your guest so that they can print the eparking permit and display this on their vehicle during their visit.
- The eparking permit will display the name, date, location, time of the event, time parking is authorised and the recommended parking location closest to the event.
- A QR Reader on the permit will also display event information provided by the event organiser.
- External corporate branding on the permit is available for an additional charge.
- eparking permits are valid for "UNSW Permit Holders Bays Only" however the availability of a bay will not be guaranteed. Please note Graduation days are not recommended due to the limited number of parking bays available.
- UNSW is a Restricted Parking Area and parking is available in marked bays only.
- eparking permit holders are not authorised to park in 2P ticket bays, Reserved Zones, Disabled Bays (without an RMS disabled permit) and Loading Zones for longer than the time permitted.
- The use of eparking permits will be audited.
