The refurbished Electrical Engineering Building will provide facilities for industry, school and community engagement that will enhance Electrical Engineering’s ongoing community outreach programs and success in industry. The famous UNSW Roundhouse is being fully refurbished, creating an exciting new on-campus central meeting space and events venue for our students. Works commenced in mid-2016 and the new-look Roundhouse is set to open in mid-2017.

The University recently completed a major project to build an extension to the Physical Sciences precinct and provide a new home for Materials Science and Engineering and an extension of the facilities for the Mark Wainwright Analytical Centre. The Materials Science and Engineering Project (MSEP) provides new infrastructure for the University to build on its position as an Australian leader in materials science engineering and research and related physical sciences.
The new School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering Building will give the next generation of young engineers a vibrant, contemporary and engaging research environment, helping to ensure Australia’s long term international influence in the sector.
