A new look for Mathews Arcade and The Pavilions

Over the UNSW summer break, the Mathews Arcade food court and The Pavilions got a new look and feel, with the seven retailers updating their stores and menus for 2016.

Construction update: Biological Sciences Project

Construction of the new Biological Sciences Building is progressing rapidly, with concrete for the first slab on ground poured in early January. 

A New Science and Engineering Building

UNSW has supported enabling works for a new Science and Engineering Building, to be located on the lower campus, near the new Materials Science and Engineering Building (E10). 

Light Rail: Keep up with what’s happening near UNSW

2016 marks the start of construction for the CBD and South East Light Rail. You can now keep up-to-date with construction work impacting the UNSW community. 

CEP Shutdown: F8, H6, E12, F10, G11, F12

From 9pm on Friday 12 February 2016 until 6am on Monday 15 February 2016, the chiller plant servicing six buildings on lower campus will be shut down for internal cleaning.  

UNSW Security Officers Receive a Makeover

Look out for the distinctive new uniforms the Security Officers will be wearing around campus from 1 February 2016.

New Cleaning Company for Upper Campus

From 1 February 2016, the cleaning services for upper campus will be provided by a new cleaning company called The Pickwick Group.

Lift Modernisation Project: Samuels and Quad Buildings

Facilities Management is modernising four lifts on the Kensington campus over the next 6 months. Works commence from Wednesday 9 December 2015.
