OHS Induction
The NSW OHS Regulation 2001 requires that all new employees receive OHS induction training.
At UNSW, this training is called OHS Awareness and is carried out by Human Resources.
- To find out more about the OHS Awareness course, and other OHS training in general, visit the UNSW HR OHS Training Course Schedule page.
- To register, visit the OHS Online Registration page.
Contractor Induction
All contractors engaged to work on UNSW campuses and properties are required to complete a UNSW OHS Induction and must have all relevant Certificates of Competency and/or licenses for the equipment being used or tasks performed.
- You can carry out your induction online. Visit our Online Induction Training for Contractors site and sign up to get started.
The person engaging the contractor (the project manager) must ensure that all necessary inductions take place and that all required Certificates of Competency and Licenses are current.
