Towards Zero Waste
This program develops and implements waste management strategies and services in order to:
- minimise waste
- maximise resource recovery
- reduce waste service costs
- reduce greenhouse impacts
- conserve resources.
It includes the University’s Composting Facility, where waste from UNSW retail food outlets and student housing is processed into compost for use on UNSW grounds.
