Environment Unit
The role of the Environment Unit is to "develop and promote a culture of environmental leadership, responsibility and continual improvement across the UNSW community", in line with the University's Environment Policy.
The Unit is accountable for preparing, implementing and reporting against the UNSW Environment Management Plan.
Implementation involves responsibilities across the following program areas:
- Greenhouse and Carbon Footprint Reporting
- Green Buildings
- Green Laboratory
- Towards Zero Waste
- UNSW Green Trails
- UNSW Landcare
- Environmental Leadership and Achievement Awards
- Energy and Water Saving Action Plans
