Campus Services Overview

Campus Services manage many of the public functions of Facilities Management (FM) including the FM Assist unit which operates a reception, customer service centre, fleet management, mail collection and delivery services. The group also includes General Services which provide recycling and waste management and furniture removal and relocation services. Cleaning

FM Assist

FM Assist is a one stop customer service centre to assist the UNSW community in all aspects of FM’s services. [more..]

• Provide building access, Student and Staff ID cards, parking permits and lost property.
• Manage UNSW motor vehicles and related services including purchase, disposal, running costs and fines.
• Operate a car hire service to assist staff while carrying out UNSW business.

General Services

• Provision of regular paper and cardboard recycling service and removal of confidential waste.
• Rubbish and industrial waste removal, except contaminated waste (refer to Risk Management Unit)
• Office relocation and removal of furniture and equipment. Note that UNSW operates a furniture reuse centre for exchange of surplus furniture as an environmentally and financially preferred option to disposal.
• Examination and venue set ups and equipment hire
• Maintenance of hard surfaces, removal of graffiti, illegal posters, clean common areas and UNSW housing units.
